Designed for Safety
Yale has a great history for offering safe lift trucks that are suitable for a variety of applications. The ability to make and design models for better safety comes from the new technology that is available in the company's experience and the material handling business.
In their latest designs, Yale has started integrating newly available technologies. Some of the new technologies which are available are first applied to forklift trucks and after that proven further through functionality and durability testing. The company performs various controlled field tests and reliability development in order to ensure their products are very safe.
In order to enhance overall safety, Yale has designed and developed a lot of new features, which have been incorporated on lots of models like:
Operator Compartment Controls and Ergonomics
The operator compartment has been engineered with ergonomics in mind, using state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to guarantee that the operator avoids exhaustion as well as heavy repetitive motions. These added comforts help to increase overall production.
Adjustable Operators Compartment and Controls
Adjustable operator controls enable the operators to choose the positioning of their necessary controls. This helps make the machinery user friendly, regardless of who is using it. Before starting their shift, the operator can make certain he or she is as comfortable as he or she can be.
Operator Presence System
Yale's hydraulic system operation known as the Operator Presence System prevents the operation of the machine if the operator is not in the correct operating position. This presence system also disables directional travel on IC engine truck units.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The drop-down design brings the LPG tank out from the protected center of the truck and down to the natural handling position of the operator making the tank easier to change.
