End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control lift truck is an extremely flexible machinery and is popular in the material handling industry. These machines have great performance characteristics that are quite similar to sit-down electric lift truck models.
These lift truck units are great for warehouse environments which have limited space. The space required to operate these machines are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck needs. These machines are an excellent option for applications which need frequent off and on access, because their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
Many companies used a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading equipments can arrange finished products on pallets and materials to be stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and simple retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great alternative for individuals who prefer to store pallets of products they do not need for immediate use in a way which is both efficient and safe.
The standard reach truck model is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping forks which move down and up are mounted to the out-rigging. The blades additionally have a hydraulic system which enables the driver to lift the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only provides more balance to the overall load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to maneuver between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
After the reach truck finds the shelves which are selected for the pallet, the hydraulics allow the forks to swing into place and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into place. Typically, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet wide without problems, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
